Lightbulb baltimore inner harbor - pier six pavilion by boat???

i'm thinking about taking the boat up to the harbor for the reggae concert on sunday evening at pier six.

has anyone done this and can provide suggestions about where to moor/tie up? can i drop an anchor off the sea wall there and just hang and and listen from my boat? can i tie off on the sea wall? is there a fee for docking there?

any help appreciated!

thanks!

Jack,

I have done this many times. You can do either. You can tie oup to the bulkheads on the Mccormick side of the pavilion, but not actually to the pavilion pier(so the bulkeads that are closer to Mccormick., and yes there is a charge. You have to get there early AM or since on Sunday possible the day before to get a spot on the bulkhead You can anchor and listen from your boat behind the pavilion. If you get there late and want to be on the bulkhead you can raft off 1 boat wide to somebody tied up there, people are usually friendly and will welcome you.

thanks for the info!guess i shouldn't be surprised that it would get crowded pretty early.anyway...it seems like my plans for this weekend are crumbling. the admiral and potential crew are all backing off of their initial enthusiasm for the idea.
