Is anyone going to the Blue Angels air show over the Naval Academy this week? I am hoping to if I can swing it being that I was on vacation last week. List the name and make of your boat if you are so may be we can recognize other THT'ers....

Greg,,,,
I am heading out there on Tuesday afternoon....(boss doesnt know it yet)..
On Tuesday from 2 till 4 the angels will be practicing for Wednesday show. From what I understand from my brother in law, it is much better to go to the practice than it is the show. They fly longer and its not as crowded....
I will have my son and daughter with me on my 17 Sea Hunt center console....
Dont have a name yet....still in negotiations with my son and daughter on that one....

Leaving Whitehall Creek at noon and plan to drop the hook off Greenbriar Point (near the radio antennas) shortly thereafter. Look for my TF burgee and I'll be monitoring Ch 68.

So did anyone go? How was it? I had the privelege to see the Angels practice at their home in Pensacola while my section was TDY on CATP in Mobile, AL (the next day they threw us in Pensacola Bay and yanked us out with an HH60). We met some of the pilots and got to nose around the hangar. I've never seen a place so clean... all the jets were spotless. It made a hospital look like a sewer. Needless to say, the flying was amazing; its true what you say about practice being longer and not so crowded.
