Default Norfolk Marine - Any references or recommendations?

Thinking about using Norfolk Marine for some major Yamaha service. Anyone had any experience with this company? They seem to have been around for a long time, and the service department is very courteous and knowledgeable on on the phone, but I would feel more comfortable hearing from a few references.

Is Norfolk Marine located on Pretty lake? If so I dealt with them years ago and would definetly recommend them based on my one encounter with them. As well as I remember they were next to or behind a dry storage facility.

You are refering to The Boat Doctors. Next to Little Creek Marina.

Norfolk Marine as in VA BCH Blvd off Military Hwy. I've only dealt with them for parts. They are a good bunch though.

Dont go to Norfolk Marine, Try Dolphin Marine @Taylors Landing Marina (Little Creek). They are a great bunch.

I have nothing but good things to say about Norfolk Marines' service department. They have (almost) always treated me well and I'll get to that....I have yet to have a problem with any work they have done on my "fleet".

At first they were kind of snooty since I didn't buy a boat from them. Once they got to know me, they have treated me very well....even got around to buying a boat from them (wink). John, the service manager is a top notch guy. I would recommend them for Yamaha service.
