VA Beach - Aug 4 - 6 charter info / recommendations - The Hull Truth

Family vacation booked the week of Aug 1-8 staying in VA Beach. My first time going there. Want to fish at least one day - preferably offshore but not sure what to expect this time of year? Any good local sites to gather info - or recommendations??

Probably only 3 of us fishing but will book the boat - not really interested in a "make-up" trip. For this trip would be more interested in a trip with better odds for "lots of action" than "trophy's" as the other two guys are more casual fishermen than myself.

Would also consider renting a boat/gear for more inshore stuff one of the other days.

Great boat you have there with the 24 Albe. I ran an older one on Lake Erie - still one of my favorite boats!

Being a contender owner.... VA Beach contender has a few boats to rent - but then you would need gear. Albie is nice (single engine) for the bay and I ride on a friends Regulator (twins) offshore (which is where I spend most of my fishing time). If I were not on those two.... contenders are awesome boats as well.
