Default Saturday at Dobbins Isl.

I guess it's time to get down to business and make specific plans for this Saturday.

It sounds as if some of you have the charcoal grills and if you can bring them, that would be great. I will plan to bring stuff (such as burgers, dogs, rolls and fixin's) to put on those grills, and then into our bellies.

Also, following pellicot's suggestion, here's my info:

Name: Brian Miller
Boat Name: Sir Reel

But, on a different note, both the weather channel and NOAA are calling for scattered t-storms on Saturday. I guess we'll have to play it by ear. So, lets try to come up with some on-shore locations should the weather be our enemy on Sat. If we all leave our kids at home, some place similar to Pusser's would work well. However, if kids are present (and crazy like mine are), low key would be better.

Downtown we have Middleton Tavern, Pusser's, Buddy's, Ram's Head and I'm sure there are others.....I don't get out often. In the surrounding area, there is an Outback, Bertucci's, Applebees, Cantler's, Ruby Tuesday's and the Yellowfin (used to be Fergie's).

See you all soon.

Brian,

Dont know if I'm going to make it. The admiral is having emergency surgery today for an infection in her knee as a result of her second knee surgery from 2 weeks ago.
She fell on the ice on SuperBowl weekend and really messed her knee up.
I got a feeling that I'm going to have to stay close to home this weekend.

Y'all have a great time and I will catch the next get together.....

My name: Greg Shute
Boat name: B-Faithful

We should be fine. Only 30% of scattered showers at this time. (That percentage always seems to go up as the weekend gets closer ) Should that 30% go to 100%, I am up for anywhere. The bowling alley would be fine with me. Although Brian is an expert bowler. He beat me bad on New Years being that he actually can roll over 100 points

Sorry, I'll be fishing with Skip for some (hopefully) big flatties. Save a beer for me!
Thanks, Fishing-Rod

I'll be bringing a "Magma" propane grille and some burgers, buns, a case of beer, and some fixings. Will also Steve if we can ever get linked up.

Well, looks like I won't be fishing in the morning....

I've got two little girls at home recovering from pink-eye! However, they should be non-contageous by the afternoon according to our doctor, but I can't exactly ask my in-laws to watch two sick kids tonight and tomorrow morning. But, weather permitting, we'll still be there for the afternoon festivities.

I'll give a shout on 68 as soon as we put the boat in the water. 5 minutes to the end of the creek and another 1 to 2 to Dobbins.
