A Buddy of mine purchased a 2004 Formula 28 PC and we went to Connecticut to pick it up last week. Left the marina about 9 miles up the Connecticut River about 8:30 am, got to LI Sound at 8:45, turned west and plowed through HELL

for 9 hours until we reached New York City. Wind was blowing from the west at about 19 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Saw several 9-10' waves during that leg of the trip. I must say, that was the first time I have gotten a boat COMPLETELY airborn, props and all, doing 10 mph !!
We were supposed to stop at Trump Marina in AC for the night but stopped at Kings Point Academy instead (Owner of the boat is a '82 Alumni)
Friday was a breeze! Left Kings Point at 6:00 sharp and stayed in the ocean all the way to Cape May. Averaged 33 mph and arrived in Edgewater, MD @ 6:15 pm.
I'll post some pics soon.
