anyone hear of a boating accident?

My sister just called and said that they were heading to West VA because her husbands oldest daughter had been in a boating accident and wasnt doing good at ALL...thats all the info i have and was trying to find out more.....
PS we are located down here in Mississippi and have no contact with them in W VA....
