EJM,

You don't have to give exact location but what area did you land those cows? I'm heading out tomorrow and would love to hook up with one of those!

Pat.

Yeah, really! I quit going opening day. It isn't worth the frustration of dealing with all the chaos. Add several hundred rag haulers to the mix and it's a quagmayer.
I usually go Monday after.
Down by Chesapeake Beach isn't bad, though.

We landed 11 fish by 11am with 4 on board (snagged two baitfish too). No real slobs. Largest was only about 40". We released fish with roe in the bellies. We were in the TPL/BPL area and slightly away from the crowds.

saw you out there greg...the judge is looking nice saw you trolling not too far from the tanker anchored furthest south.

i was on a buddy's boat...we ended up with 7, but none over 35". caught a few early, then the bite went dead for while...picked up later in the morning and we caught 1 about every hour 'til we pulled them up around 2:30.

defouling the lures was too much like work! danged winter jellies!

We had 9 stripers by 8:am Saturday fishing the River south of Tilghman.
Kept the best looking keepers and headed in. Caught all on sassy shad including a 44".
