Plan to head offshore of OC, MD some time between 7/9 and 7/18 - weather dependent. I've got experience as a CG coxswain, but I own a 21' "surfboard" and I like safety in numbers.

If you think you'll be somewhere around the Jackspot, Massey's, Chickenbone, or the Hambone, and don't mind a little friend tagging along within visual/radio range, please let me know.

try tidalfish.com for buddy boats some of those guys are hardcore fishermen and go way out.

Fred.........you will find plenty of friends, buddy boats, and help etc.........as mentioned above, on Tidalfish.com.........FYI.......I started doing what you are planning in 1988 in a Wellcraft V20..........with your training and some common sense, and hopefully mild winds (less than 15 mph) you will catch fish and have fun.......don't rule out the Twin Wrecks area.......caught my fist BFT there........in 1988...........
