Default OC MD flounder

I moved to OC 2 years ago and am wondering why nobody fishes along the beaches for flounder. Along the coast of NY and RI this is very plentifull with big Fluke. It seems almost everyone fishes entirely in the bays or mouth of the inlet I never see anyone fishing along the beaches? Why is this? These fish have to come along the beach to get in the bays.

I'd say it has to do with the crowds. Assateague is barren compared to OC, but there's only a one or two hour window in the morning and evening to cast anything from the beach north of the inlet.

You have luck from the bech there?

Too damn many sand sharks, oyster toads and Pampers swimming around out there.
