Re: Va Beach Boat Show
I'm sure I'll go a few times. I'll probably check it out Thurday evening with some friends and go a couple more times Saturday/Sunday with my Dad and brothers.
I've been looking forward to it for a LONG time lol! I'm curious to see what VB Contender has on display.

From the website it looks like about the same number as dealers as usual, but I doubt the big ones will have but so many on display. I'd be surprised to see Browning's there with the ENTIRE Sea Ray line...
Browning has furloughed it's help. Just the family running the show. Most of the boats will be lower priced according to guys in the business. A few local dealers are closing their doors.

If I recall correctly the show will occupy 4 of the 5 halls at the Convention Center where last year they used all 5.
I got a sneak peek when I was down at the convention center for a meeting earlier in the week. A lot of boats where in the parking lot waiting to be taken inside. I was surprised by the number there. More than I expected based on the economic situation. Looked like Regulator and Triton will have a nice showing. There were also some nice looking Scouts, a Judge, a big C-Hawk along with a number of others. From what I saw the number of fishing boats will be strong while the number of cruisers and runabouts will be down. I will be there Friday night.

A sold boat is gonna stay there till the show is over. I can't even imagine that they'd move a bunch of other boats out of the way just to get one out. They'll put a "Sold" sign on it and still allow people to board her.
