Default Bay Bridge Marina???

Does anyone have any experience (positive or negative) with the bay bridge marina on Kent Island in MD?

Looking at moving a boat there for next season. Main concern is the depth of the channel approaching the marina at low tide.

Thanks in advance!

Been there a few times. Nice but busy. Unless you have a 80' trawler, depth should be fine, lots of 40'+ boats in there.

Parents used to have their sailboat there. Ran aground a very long time ago (this was before they started dredging) Very nice place. Thought about putting ours there, but having to move it for the week of the boat show did not sit well with me for the $ they wanted.

I have been in and out of there many times and have never had a problem Just make sure you pick up the 1st marker and stay in the channel. The only problem with the marina is the gas is usually 75-85 cents more than any place else.

Do you live on the western or eastern side of the bay? Give some thought if you are on the western shore!

It's a poorly run marina, owned by a large insurance company, that charges extraordinary amounts of money for slips and services and refuses to invest in maintaining what could be the nicest marina on the bay.
