Maine Trailer Registration ? - The Hull Truth

I've noticed here and on other boards that a lot of people register their trailers in the state of Maine and save a lot of money , time and aggravation dealing with the proletariat that is Maryland . How do I go about taking advantage of this very appealing proposition ?

i dont have a tilte is it easier to get one in maine i got a old trailer and streched it added an axle

I doubt that this is legal, for MD residents. Trailers get plates from the MVA and are treated just like cars. They require that your cars and trucks be registered in MD and I cant find anywhere that says this soes not apply to trailers as well.
