pretty much that's the only option. he said it actually didn't hang around too long, which is good. he says when the whites show up, nothing else will come around.

couple years ago he leadered a smaller one 7-8 footer in under and hour and cut it lose. but that wasn't during a tournament...he said they would have try to get rid of this one quickly.

apparently a 600-lb mako took first place...did you get a look at him?

As far as I know, but this was Sunday, the biggest shark, maybe just for that day mako wise was 220??? There was a 500+ thresher too. A blue less than 10 lbs won the bluefish category?? Up here it's usually somewhere between 15-18 pounds. Maybe early in the season...
