Default Restaurants on the Delaware River ?

We have a slip near tullytown, pa. on the Delaware for the first time this year. Does anyone know of any restaurants that we can drive the boat to and dock and eat ? I'm aware of going to philadelphia and docking there but i'm wondering if there are any others.

Maybe on the eastern shore of the bay--New Jersey style. Otherwise, it's tough until you get as far south a Lewes inside the Roosevelt Inlet and down the Lewes Rehoboth Canal to Irish Eyes, and a few others in Lewes. (pronounced LOO-IS, not LOU's).
Hope that helps!

not sure if it is still there but The Pirates Inn in NJ was a nice waterfront restaurant. I cannot find the website to it so it may not be in business anymore. (I havent been there in 15 years)

Curtains Marina Wharf over on NJ Burlington is one. Also the King George Inn on PA side in Bristol. Later is kind of upper scale but very good food. Curtains is more relaxed casual. Both are abut 15 minutes south of Tullytown. I used to slip in Tullytown at D&S is that where you are?. Hows the draft there now? After the major flooding 2 years ago the cove got filled with trash and sediment. Oh and the Gulls coming off the dump will crap your boat up! Always an ongoing problem. Nice folks there though and Jay in the shop is a great guy! Nice place to slip. Watch those crocs when motoring the Big D though!!

Try the Christina River, Wilmington De.. 4 or 5 very nice resturants right on water. I went down thereSunday to verify new docks they put in, very nice job. All restrurants right on water with walk path up and down the River. Must see. Port of Wilmington is the mouth and plenty deep water at low tide. Lots to see. Can watch blue rocks baseball if you want. I'll garantee you will be back once you see this. One bridge, blow horn and right after bridge, 2st resturant on right and others on right up river. Nice new and clean.

We are at D&S in Tullytown. You're right about the trash but they seem to be taking care of it now that the season has started. Also I have witnessed them taking care of the gulls so it seems like they have a better handle on things now. So far so good.

Thanks for the heads up on the restaurants.

North of you is, Katmandu. More of a bar then restuarant, but Friday night they have a great buffet with happy hour, no cover from 5pm-7pm. I like to be out of there by 7pm, when it turns into a night club. The have a great Sunday Brunch. You have to use the dock at Waterfront Stadium. I do not know if the docks are open yet. I should know by next weekend. It is a 2 minute walk from the docks.

Curtains - Dakotamusic covered them

McCrossens at Riverside Marina. sandwiches and such. right on the water, with easy access from thier docks. I have only been there once, food was fair, with fair prices.
