I just got my boat back last weekend with fresh bottom paint and the motor has been serviced with new water pump, etc.

in other words other than a wash and wax................. I am ready to go!

Probably late march for me. Been working on loose ends and have company in town. "New" boats have historically required too much of my time before they get wet.

shrinkwrap comes off next week. Hope to get out on the water next weekend sometime. Have a new pup to take out ... can't wait to see how he likes it.

Ok, so we went out last Saturday. The temp was good (not real cold), wind was out of the SW about 20, SW isn't too bad when fishing the ocean. They were calling for the wind to shift to be out of the West which it did around 10:30 or so, it also picked up to 20-30 kt. This made trolling north and south a little challenging with a 24* deadrise. Called it a day (without even a knockdown) around noon and headed west back to Little Creek. Needless to say the ride home was a little slower than usual but we still made 12kt. I sure do love my Albemarle!

A little maint work this weekend and another trip next weekend!

The shrink wrap comes off 3/21. Then a complete wash & wax followed by bottom paint and oil change. Should be back in the slip by 4/4. I'll be trolling 4/5 and 4/6 doing some C&R

Never put mine away this year. Just dropped off for lower gear oil change and water pumps. Will be back in when they call. After all that crazy rockin down at the tunnel in late Dec and early Jan I do not believe I will be puttin mine up for the winter ever again as long as the fish keep hitting.

Next week. I'm waxing the hull this weekend. Never should have taken it out this winter.

No fishing for me, just cruising but I am thinking of when to start the to-do list. Just needs a quick wash then wax from rub rail down, add zincs and splash I go. Everything else can be done dockside. Might start this upcoming weekend, or the next, or the next. Will probably be in by 3rd weekend in April.

I just got around to replacing a throughhull this past weekend. (not as hard as I thought) I still have to paint, zinc, and put a nice third coat of wax on, it stayed nice so long last year i was able to put two coats on before wrapping it up. and of course dunk the entire boat in 303.
