I don't wana spend 5 bucks on a piece of metal, I wana know how to make hopkins spoons cheaply

Big fish how old are you? This is an expensive sport you have to spend money! Im not trying to get you down but its the truth!! Check ebay for good deals I have and I find them often. Good luck!

Good to see a 13 year-old getting out fishing. You can find tons of cost-effective (cheap) lures, etc online. But be prepared. You gotta spend some of all that money you have saved. Hats off to you though. Your folks must be proud to have a son who is trying to do his own thing and actually MAKE something instead of sitting back waiting for mom & dad to foot the bill.

If you know where to get spoons for $5, please let me know. I'll go there and buy all they have. :-)

I think a 21 Tony runs about $15 these days....

Hit the PSG, Tri-State and Solomons flea markets in late winter/early spring. They always have deals on used stuff. Spoons are a dime a dozen because nobody uses them anymore.
