Yes. You may wish to post this on TidalFish.com, on the VIrginia Board. The club's name begins with Central Virginia ....sorry, can't be much help beyond that. Definitely a Richmond area club. Maybe some others will chime in on this.

I think "Glenn" (screenname - from Richmond) on here belongs to one that meets in Southside? I THINK it's a SALTwater one?

Maybe PM him to see - he's QUITE a fisherman and will help you out!

Regards,

Hello,

Just saw this post. I'm Vice President of the CVSFA (Central Virginia Sportfishing Assoc.) and would be happy to speak with you about our club. In short, we meet once a month (first Monday of each month) in Chester. We have approx. 75 members with say 40 that are active month in month out so we are not a large club and don't plan on being overly large. We have a private message board for sharing information during the season and we hold some club tournaments that span the season (ROlling flounder, rolling rockfish, etc..) as well as sponsor a kid's fishing derby and participate in Wish a Fish and the CCA challenge tournament...I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff.

Our members target just about everything from fresh to salt. Some offshore fishermen, flounder pounders, wreck fishing, ROckfish (of course in Winter), bass, catfish in the James, etc...

Give me a ring. 804-240-9224.

Glenn P
