one of the few with the 350's that doesnt seem to be sitting stern heavy.
Maybe they shifted some weight around on the newer ones to better accommodate the F350s.
When I had the opportunity to ride on last year with F350s, they said that they reinforced the transom a little more for the torque and weight of the engines but that the rest of the boat was the same. I dont think they added/ shifted any weight.
The boat would fly and the extra weight was not that noticeable. She would still stay on plane around 20 kts w/o tab. That was pretty impressive to me.
I know at least one Reg26 owner who switched to SP26 and loves making that decision. He's got a 26 w/ f250's, says it beat's the Reg in everything but a steep head sea ride, and you can't even tell unless you're driving into 4 footers every 3 seconds straight on.
The extra beam makes you love the boat, just so much more room. Better finished and layed out also.
