I will still be placing a order on a 32 YF on my 25th b-day as a present to myself after seeing ANTHEM"S ride. That boat looks incredible but I would like to see a step down head in the console. Do you think that might be an option in the near future Wylie?
.
Congratulations, the 32' is IMO, the best twin engine boat on the market today. I am not sure if Wylie would custom make a 32' with a step down in the head or not you would have to ask him personally. Fuel tanks are there so, something would have to be done about that for starters.
Thanks for the compliments and I think you will be making a great choice going with the 32, a very versatile boat. Give Wylie a call at: 941-753-7828 to find out about your custom question for the inner console.

Good luck!!

What's the freeboard on the 29? Looks pretty low but could just be the photo angle.

Did not mean to "punk"anybody.

Just pointing out that guys on this site were more interested at looking at YF than "girls".

A testament to the boat.

Sorry if I offended anybody.

Any news about the "new" 34 (e.g. in floor fishboxes, modified aft livewell,...)?

Also, Anthem and other YF owners, does YF flush mount the though-hull transducers (B260, R99, etc) so that they don't protrude from the bottom of the hull?

Everything on the bottom of a YF is flush.
High speed pick ups.

Transducer. Reads in any sea at any speed.

Default Yellowfin

As you can tell by my log in what boat I fish, but not for long! I was at the Miami Boat Show this year, and looked at all of the manufacturers. See Vee, Fountain, are nice, but NOTHING touches the Yellowfin.

Regarding the switch from Contender to Yellowfin, can you guys share some of the things that you like so much more about the Yellowfin? I am currently running a Contender 23T and am considering moving up to a Yellowfin 29. I've been trying to get some inpuit from some fishermen that have run both of these brands. Anything that you'd like to share would be greatly appreciated.

After buying YF24 last summer, the ride is so much different then any other boat i have owned or fished out of. Its really hard to put it in words. Its something you have to experience.

I have been coming back to that Beige boat for the last 3-4 weeks. I am in love with that thing. I also have asked about the wiring, primarily b/c I have some buddies in the market and they were a bit turned off by the exposed wires. I personally like the exposed look but in all honesty kinda have to ask why? I mean I know it looks great but exposed is exposed. It seems to be a bit of a preference thing to me. For those of us who like to access and diagnose any potential issues it is nice to have it available.
After reading this entire thread again for the 5th time I wonder if they are exposed for heat dissipation purposes? I know my current console is covered and much smaller than the YF and it generates alot of heat on the electronics.

Me too, I really like the beige color, white powder coat and ice blue walls inside the boat. That thing really pops and has first class written all over it.
