wylie and his guys went to the show prepared.... thats what it takes to sell boats in this economy
YF cranked this year at the show with sales. I don't think any other CC manufacturer even came close to selling the amount of boats that YF did. What a testament!!!

There is a big difference between "saying" you sold boats and actually building and getting paid for boats. YF wins in the actually selling and producing catagory.

Picture 41 on the 36. Any body know where I can buy some lights like that?? They are exactly what I am looking for on my project.
I with most agree YF makes a sexy boat but there are a few areas I see for improvement. Even though it is my favorite boat on the market right now I don't like the pop up port hole on the top of the console of the 42. Seems like it would be in the captains line of site and get rather aggravating when open.
I also am not real fond of the electronics connectors located in the bilge of the 29 seems like corrosion would quickly become and issue. There seems to be a few things out of place in the 29 that I wonder about.
Don't get me wrong though I love my contender but yellowfin seems to be a step ahead in the game.

Really well unless I heard wrong, INV took around three orders, YF was in the high teens, so please prove me wrong
Beautiful boats. Is it just me though, or does the 29 almost look like a bay boat?
I owned the 29' in its previous life as the 31'. I moved up to a 34' when I decided it was time to repower. Let me just say this about the 29. I truly believe that there is not a more capable boat under 30' in the market. Its ability to handle just about anything you throw at it is amazing. We regularly found ourselves in 5-7' seas off the east side of the stream and never had issues crossing the 80+ miles getting home. Don't let looks fool you....this is one terrific boat.
Is there a reason Yellowfin doesn't offer a step down center console without the wiring exposed? NOT a bash on Yellowfin and yes the wiring is perfect, so please I don't want anyone being defensive, I'm just wondering. Everything is laid out perfect and it sure makes it easier to access everything, but just wondering why not a step down for extra room.

You are in the minority of which is why no step down, most fisherman want a flush deck to easily access the front of the boat. The cater to mostly hard core fishermen, not pleasure boaters, who fish twice a year.
