Can someone point out to me where the fit and finish is inferior to other manufacturers? I can't wait 'til I'm ready to upgrade to the 36.
Here we go again with nothing but subjective opinions...but the question has been answered already with SV, YF, etc. The first pic of a bilge is my new 32 YF. All said, I went out in the 36 Inv and was very impressed...still not going to make these comments that one particular brand is superior over the other; really splitting hairs.
Hope to see you on the water this year...
Most definately. Congrats on your new boat. I originally wanted twin 350 Yamahas so I'm interested to see how the 32 YF behaves with them. I might be switching to 350Vs at the end of year.
Try to get you some #'s, I went with the 350Vs myself...I did run a 32 YF w/ twin 350 Yams and we hit 68 w/ 3 guys and 150 gallons of fuel. Let you know what the 350 Vs do.
I think its pretty abvious that these two boats YF and Invincible, are arguably the two best CC on the market right now. Saying one is better than the other is pretty stupid. There are things about both boats that I find appealing, and the fact that these two companies are competing for market share is good for all of us because they wil continue to improve because of it. When it comes time for me to go bigger it will probably come down to price, and available power.

My bad... for some reason I thought you went with the 350Yam. I think the 350Vs will have better mpg than the YAMs.
I'm with Lcosta on this one. From my observations at the boat show, Invincibles fit and finish is easily on par if not slightly better than Yellowfins.Anyone who thinks otherwise has been drinking too much kool-aid.

it sounds like we are all finally realizing that these two are equal. And Wylie is making his stuff better every year, the new 36 guys is sick. If you didnt see it at the show, you need to find an 09 36 and check out the bow, WOW. We all know the performance on both boats, but they both have similar fishing platforms now=DEAD FISH IN BOX

You have obviously been drinking to much of it yourself. There is a reason why YF has the most views, pictures and coments. Dont fool yourself.

Alot of it has to due with the number of clients in that particular boat. Contender has more hits then YF just for that reason. More boats in the market due to more years building boats. Law of large numbers.

Wait a second you just said that INV sold more boats at eh show than yellowfin, now your already making excuses, so what is it Bspot, did they sell more boats or was I right only three boats?
Believe me nothing wrong with selling three boats, and I totally love invincibles, but when ever I see someone talking $hit, especially when there screen name is Brown spot I have to call you out.
What's the USCG2NM thing on the T-Top? These are some very pretty boats. Also can figure out, are you joking or just gay "I don't like the white bilge hoses". Get real.

I'am still undecided on which one of the "big three" CCs I will be purchasing.I have no dog in this fight or horse in this race.I was simply stating my unbiased opinion regarding Invincibles fit and finish compared to yellowfins. Please enlighten me and show me proof where I'am wrong 24-7......

the white bilge hoses
This argument is ridiculous. It's like asking if a Bentley is better than a Rolls Royce. The differences in these boats is purely subjective.
For those saying that the fit and fisish is inferior to other boats, mention where you see the difference.
I'll mention one. Why does YF put the bar on the bottom of the console with the screws? Even though I'm sure it's stainless, today's stainless isn't the stainless steel of yesteryear's. Personally, I like the wiring to be hidden, not exposed.
I have no idea what bar he is talking about either.
Look at the YF thread and look at the 29. There's a picture of a small box on the transom that houses some type of pump. To the left of that, there is a "bar" with screws on it that wraps around the transom cockpit, just under the livewell. It also borders the bottom of the console.
That is the trim piece that hides the seam where the cap meets the hull liner, and on the console it hides where the console "shoe boxes " together. Now I see the piece your talking about.

Who is exactly catching up with who??....you make it sound, in a nice way, that YF's are finally on par with invincibles with 09 models ...thats kinda of funny

Got it. Is it just me, or is that technique not aesthetically pleasing?
I like how Inv and others have a "clean" and "smooth" surface. Seahunter uses the same "cap".
