24 degrees deadrise at the transom. For sure more of a crossover boat fishing/cruising. The other power option is triple 350's.

wow, that is a heck of a boat. Love the drop down raised helm deck. Lots of innovations on this one. I'd love to have it.

I went on it at the CC. It is absolutely monsterous sitting inside on blocks. Huge crowd around it yesterday. Looks kind of strange with outboards hanging off that big of boat.

Nice looking cuddy below too. Innovative hatch integrated into the front console seating for rod storage, but also opening up some head rom down below. I hope they sell a few there!

I'm speaking of what you get for 450K - 50 gph doing 35 mph? I was no the boat - it's not THAT nice...

At that price lots of competition, in board diesels, not to mention, yellowfins, sea vees, intrepids, etc. Lots of clutter up in the bow to function as a fishing boat.

I think you all are forgetting for years flocks of BW cultiees paid 40% or more for like boats simply because it has that harpoon on the side.

Branding plane and simple ... Glen you of all folks should see that!

I still do not know why Whaler insists on having such a huge chine. I would be willing to bet this boat rides worse than its competition in Contender, Sea Vee, Venture, Edgewater, Bahama, YF, and Everglades. No doubt the features are VERY Impressive, but hull design still has me scratching my head.

Taking the money out of it(I know you can't but lets pretend....Ok?) , it does have some really really neat features. Someone spent some time on the design and thought a few things thru.

Any of big boat CCguys impressed by any of it? Any of those new features help offshore fisherguys in the grand scheme of things? I don't reallyknow if they do since all we do is idle around with downriggers at 90fttrying tohook up to a 20lbSalmon.

I would say that the initial performance numbers are...........shall we say..........sluggish..... compared to the other boats they are competing with. Yes?
