Is that about a 2" lip on the front decking?

No it is a slight rise, probaly not even a half inch. You don't even notice it when walking around on the bow. I have never had anyone have any issues with it.

Whitewater boats may be the best kept secret around. Small company, three different hulls: 25', 28' and 32'. Quality construction -- nothing fancy, just good stuff. In talking to the owner of the company it's clear he'll do almost anything you want.

Norm is a greatg guy and really enjoyed building my 28 with him,Cindy, and his son.

I had him lay up 2 extra layer of woving in the bow to give it a little more weight. I learned that from the charter captains in Key West.

Im very pleased with my 28. 1400 hrs in the Northeast, 4 seasons, no issues. Tried (and failed)to upload a pdf of Center console mag's recent article. The editor just had a 28 built with a single 300 Suzuki. Cool concept.

Thanks for posting the pictures.
