Thanks for these pics.

I didn't take any and I am seriously considering the 21 Flats with a 250.

Did they have a 2200 Coastal at the show. I have found what seems like a very good deal on one, but haven't had a chance to lay eyes on it yet.

The sales guy at the show said they'd take $32,000 for the green 21. I thought that was a tremendous price. I don't know anything about them, but they looked good and he said they were 100% vinylester resin. The 25 XS has got to be worth 14 or 15 and it should move that hull pretty good.

The Famous Craft Dealer in Miami has a leftover 08 2200 Coastal for 24K. It has an Opti 225 I believe. This seems like a screaming good deal for a boat (with T-Top), motor and trailer package.

When I was looking at the boat the had an offer on the 21' not sure if they accepted it or not.

I was told with a 225xs it ran 63-65 and a 250 xs it ran 71 mph. The 21 was REALLY Nice, the wiring was clean all tinned, gel coated hatches, and etc. The only downside I saw was the thru-hulls in the bilge were not up to par. They had threaded thru hulls with pvc valves screwed on to act a a sea cock. This boat was a last year and that may have changed for this year, not sure. I was also told vinylester resin, all hand laid, no spray/chop. It has the absolute largest front and rear deck I've ever seen. The boat is not a Hewes finish, but it was very nice.

I am interested in the 18 & 21 from famous, currently pricing one out.

Wild... good luck on getting your Famous Craft. They look impressive, I hope you are pleased. If I hadn't already decided on another make I would have jumped on it for $32,000.

Since I posted earlier I found a local dealer (Darrin's in D'Iberville MS) with a good stock on hand. I have spent a couple hours crawling over the boats. I think they are an exceptional deal for the money. I demoed the 2100 CC on a day when there was a nasty chop. I was pleasantly surpised by how soft and dry the ride was relative to the boats weight and size. It is a small 21 foot boat. It's like a pleasure/bayboat/nearshore boat hybrid. Ride wise it blows my 19' Tidewater bay boat away. Quality wise it's a very slight step down. The 2008 model rigged with a tandem aluminum trailer and a Suzuki 175 is priced at 19,965. My local dealer also has two of the 22' Coastal models and several flats boats for reasonable prices.

I took time out to talk to Charlie at the factory. He answered a pile of questions that I had. He spent 20-25 minutes of his valuable time giving me information on materials and construction techniques. I have a very good feeling about Famous Craft boats and the company. You'd be hard pressed to justify spending so much more money on a more recognized name brand.

Can you send me an email with what you have in stock, options and prices.

I am looking at the 18' & 21' Flats....(trying to decide if I want to store the 21' or keep the 18' in my garage).

I did not find a website for your company or you listing on line.

I just bought a brand new 08 model 2100 CC from Darrin today . $19,965 for the boat with T-Top, Suzuki 175 and tandem axle trailer was a steal. You NEED to call him at the number listed on the Famous Craft website above and talk to him about the New 08 21' flats boat with the E-Tec 225 he has. There is not a better deal on a flats boat in the country. Darrin is a good, hard working, honest man. You'll appreciate the way he does business. He owns the 23' Flats model, so he knows the boat line.

Edit: Famous Crafts website is down due to bad weather. Darrin's number is 228-297-6308

Talked to him at the Biloxi Boat Show. That 21' with the 225 E-tec was only 24K!!! He had it at the Mobile show as well for the same price and it didn't sell. I don't know if he sold it at the Biloxi show or not but it seemed like a hella lot of boat to me for that price.

Darrin still has the 21. At 24K it's the best deal on a new flats boat on the market.

Rodney, that is the last one they had. He has ordered an 09 2100, but I don't know how it will be rigged and priced. Go to FC's website, get the phone number, call the factory, and ask them where the best deal is on a 2100. They have a fairly small dealer network and know which dealers have what boats at what prices. The people I have spoken with at the factory have been singularly wonderful.

I noticed this one on boattrader. Seems like a good deal, if you don't mind travelling a ways to pick it up.

Just went by and talked to Darrin when I dropped my Honda off for service. He still has 21 Flats with the 225 Etec. It's actually only $23,200 after the $1000 rebate from Evinrude.
