BG Darrin is a good guy. He has been exceptionally good to me. I generally don't trust mechanics or salespeople. He is both. I trust him absolutely and respect him as a mechanic and a person.Rodney, you really need to test ride that boat. You'll be amazed at how smooth and dry it rides. It has less freeboard than most 21' boats. It has freeboard more like a bay boat, but it has the lines and deep vee (22 degrees) of a performance offshore boat. It's an interesting hybrid that really hit the sweetspot in price, ride, quality and functionality for me. It is not a self bailing boat and is not marketed as a dedicated offshore boat by the company. I added a second battery and a second bilge pump to mine to give me peace of mind. It will eat up anything the bay can throw at it and serve nearshore work quite well. It will work great for pulling folks around on water toys too.I cannot say enough good things about the people at Famous Craft. I sure hope they weather this economic storm. They deserve to survive and thrive.
