You would think Century would be more than competitive since they are owned by Yamaha and could therefore charge themself less for engines.

Don't see Century making it out of 09 with those ridiculous prices. This company will be shut down.

28 cc pursuit cost more than the 32 century cc with twin 350s. Talk about over priced ??? And I used to own a pursuit and now own a century. Aint much difference in quality at ALL. The 2901 is 43,000 cheaper than the 28 cc pursuit. IMHO that cant be justified.

I wouldnt bet on Century shutting down. They may slow production, but they'll weather the storm. Yamaha is to diversified, plus the Japanese co's are not as top heavy as American ones.

Jeez, you sure called that one right!

My local dealer now has '08 Century 20-foot CCs priced at $23k!
