How stable is a shallow drafting narrow beam panga with a tower on it? These boats are high quality but I would be a little nervous up high.

Perhaps it is the angle of the photo but it sures looks like it would be hard to see & steer this boat with the tower floor just about at eye level in photo number 24

Sharp looking boats. The panga lines aren't for everyone, but I don't see the positive growth trend going down any time soon.

Pangas are defiantly hot right now, I think its the combination of relatively low entry cost, great fuel numbers and awesome ride.

Right now I have the 26 Angler Panga, went to a near shore wreck last saturday that is 25 miles offshore. Ran the boat all day, bump trolled around then ran back home. Probably a total of 60 miles all day. 3 guys, boat full of ice, gas, rods reels and cruising at 32 mph . Only burned 11 gallons!! Its almost comical when we get back to the dock!

If anyone is ever in the Hilton Head and wants a ride Im always looking for new people to fish with.

Why can't the larger model be built 3 piece like the smaller models? With that narrow beam the cockpit would be larger and safer.

There is a 3 year old 26 at my bro-in-laws marina. The marine is in brackish water. Every piece of stainless on the boat was rusting or was leaching onto the fiberglass.

(First words from my wife was "what no bathroom")

We did have some problems with a poorly laminated deck in one spot. We had it out in big seas one day and heard it come apart, But actually, that's not such a bad thing. It demonstrated how class of an outfit Andros is. They sent a truck/trailer from Florida to our home, picked it up, took it back and fixed it and appologized for days. Andy asked if we would rather have a new boat and we said no (class is a two way street). He told us if we ever had a problem again, he would simply swap hulls. No one could ever tell they took it apart and redid it. Try that with one of the mega-companies.

It has a full panel of Garmin 12" and has the full tower with controls. We don't use the tower much. It also has a 250 hp Suzuki. It was too early to get the 300. Frankly, with the flat hull I don't know if I would want to run one with 300 hp. It can get up and dance.

15" of water is not a problem (has a jack plate) and we take it out into the Atlantic for wet and cold striper fishing.

It really is a nice boat and the company that makes it has a good bunch of guys.

We have a tower on our 26 up herre in VA nd it is not an issue. I think the flat bottom helps. I tell everyone it is a plastic version of a Chesapeak Deadrise.

We don't use the tower much, but in 18" of water its really cool to watch the bottom go unsder the boat.
