Open fisherman with fighting chair at Marina - pics?
Did anyone get pictures of the open boat with the fighting chair in the water - that was sick.
I can't remember what it was: Invincible, Venture, SeeVee......Something big with Trips, as I recall. I guess that fits in the go fast marlin fighter category.
I was out of battery by the time I got to that boat. Thanks for posting up the pics.

Nice.
Anyone know what the one next to it is? Looks sweet!

I would have to say that that chair is going to pose nothing but problems.... Unless the fish stays 200 yds off the stern on the surface, you are going to have a leaderman that is screwing with line to get it over and across the motors all the time... With a fighting chair, the ideal setup is to have your chair in a position where the rod tip extends about even, if not just past the transom when you are in the furthest extension forward so you have little interference with the line during the fight...
Isn't a boat like this nimble and designed more towards a stand up fisherman in a good harness??

The boat and the chair were built to the customers order. He wanted to keep the boat clean and simple and it was a real attention getter. I had the pleasure of sea trialing the boat on Saturday. The boat is a beast and the fit and finish is up there with the best. Here's a shot taken down into the rear well showing the pumps, transducer pocket and sea chest. It is nicely done everywhere you look. It is big, smooth and stable.

We sea trialed this boat as well on saturday afternoon. Kernos right, it is a beast. We ran out the cut, offshore and back twice. Outside we stopped, shut down the center engine, trimmed it up and proceeded to run 41 mph on the handheld GPS. With all three we managed 51 mph, keep in mind she was carrying 600+ gallons of fuel on board and the port motor was toed way out. I think it would probably run a couple mph quicker with the port motor adjusted. I also agree that chair is more for show and it seemed to produce the desired results for the owner. Bahama will rig the boat however the customer wishes.
