RE: Anything new from yamaha at the show? (F400) ?
No 400 at this point. I asked if they were working on a 4 blade for the F350, so that more of the thrust could be used on heavy boats by increaing the blade area and was told that they were "working on it" and said that Solas was making some.

Kerno:
I talked to a yamaha rep at the show, he stated April they would have a four blade prop out for the F350.

They will wait until after the spring selling season and all the boats are ordered with the 350s then they will release the 400+ in the summer. They have to get rid of the 350s that are already built. That's just my opinion, but it's probably not far from the truth.

The rummor i heard was dont expect the 400 anytime soon, with the economy the way it is and invinotries of 350's ect. the one rummor i did hear was that yamaha will be working on controls for 4 motors as they can only control 3 at the moment and they are loosing market share to mercury due to this, i guess now there are plenty of big CC's that run 4 motors and you have 1 choice right now. the theory was yamaha never wanted to be involved in speed.
