Can't wait for the show, only about 60 more days!

2009 will be upgrading plotter and adding an autopilot so i'll be adamently checking out Furuno (NN3D), Garmin's (GHP10), and Simard (AP2403 VRF)

Also very curious so see first hand the broadband technology as it equates to FF and Radar (Navico: Simrad, Lowrance, Northstar)

Boats i must see: GW 290, Sterling TR7 flats boats, Ranger Bay/flats boats, Intrepid, Jupiter and of course Freeman 33

What I am looking forward to seeing:
From YF: Look at the new designed 42, see what modifications he has made. The 36 has been tweeked too. Seen the 32 up close WOW, check her out.

From Yamaha: 400??s know they are coming but hoping its this year at show, next year on boats

From furuno: Anything they have new, they have the BEST STUFF.

THE BIG ROOM, this year it is going to be the longest stop for us. Gonna get some new toys.

For those looking to do this on a budget, stay in a town far away like NAPLES or ORLANDO that is not packed and make it 2 day trips into the show and back late. Its not a bad drive to Miami from the north or west i promise. Bring the family and make it a family week, Orlando has great deals in this economy as well as naples/ft myers area, even the KEYS. Anyone looking for direction pm me

I'll be comparing flats boats. Not tech poling skiffs, but those that can run fast and fish shallow. Along the lines of a Master Angler 21. Does anyone know if Young Bros. will have their 20 footer there??

Hey, how's everybody doing? My name is James. This will be my first boat show...period. I'm a sophomore in college. I'm more into offshore boats ( Fountains, Outerlimits, MTI's, Skaters, there's so many!) I'm interested in all boats B/c there are more bass and ski boats around where I live ( Arkansas ). But I'm really excited only been in North Florida, never Miami or anything!

i checked out the list of exhibitors for the show makes the vancouver boat show look like a weekend get together.

2007' 32 Fountain (black hull) with twin 275 V's or a 2008' 27T Contender (light blue hull) with twin F250's. Both boats have been sitting idle at local sales lots. Trade in my 05' 21 Contender, little money down. Let's make a deal.
