moving motors to the outside destroys performance. it does increase dock handling, but you dont buy a performance hull and whack off its wheels just to put in the slip easier. as far as performance, the 28 is a 62 or more mph boat with 500 hp so even with 400 it should move well enough, but would be underpowered. as far as trip 200s. i just cannot think of any reason that would make sence. i cannot think of any boat under 31 that would perform at its peak with triples. i guess its fun to dream, but that one is a bit too odd for me.

btw, with singe 250 (in the event of a failure) you should still see low-30s and make it to the scales in time. (ask force-10 from texas)
