Default tow assist

I just passed the online tow assist with Mariners school. It was a great course and well done online. Could you please tell me what forms I need to present to the CG and what the application fees might be. Went to the CG site and couldnt figure it out. I just renewed my 100 t0n Masters last year. thanks

You would use the same USCG application form as the original / renewal license (CG-719B). Check the License Endorsement box for the transaction type. Submit the application and your proof of passing the course paper. Fee should be $50 evaluation & $45 for the issuance of the new license.

You would have been better off adding the assistance towing to your license when you renewed last year. You wouldn't had the extra fees you'll pay now.

Hope this helped!

went down to the Baltimore Rec, fee was $45. Bring your license they need a copy of it. Should have the endorsement in 6 weeks.
