Default Lowrance VHF

Jim,

Question for us HDS users. Are the Lowrance VHF radios equipped with the quick connect to the NMEA adapter on the HDS system or do you still have to split wires?

The LVR250 require you match up small wires. The LVR880 is plug and play but you'll need a p/n 124-69 to make the connections.

There is no such thing as a "digital" antenna (its just a brand name), so watever you have is fully compatible.

I am not aware of any HDS rebates right now.

Jim, thanks again for all your help but I have a last question. I want to network the lvr880 to my current hds 7 and am going to get another hds 5. Is there a network package to connect all 3 devices or do I have to get 2 separate cables? Also is the Nautic Insight chart on the reman hds5 the same as my insight usa chart?

I woud suggest buying 2 of the 124-69 kits. This is the cheapest way to buy all the cables you will need.

Jim, I ordered the network starter kit today, it said limited stock so I just wanted to check in to see if you had them or not because the other day it said out of stock.

We had a few of them cycle through the store today. I am not sure what your name is, but you can call tomorrow to check.

I will check in the store tomorrow to see if we have any gen I 7's left.
