Default hds 7 insight or basemap
im planning on purchasing a hds 7, i only fish the raritan bay, I will be getting the platnum plus chip. Does it pay to spend more for the insight or just go with basemap and platnum plus?

Just get the base unit. You'll never look at the Lowrance charts once you have Platinum Plus.
