GHP10 and new 2.1L pump - The Hull Truth

hello,
this winter i might finally get and install my AP for my 282 GW Sailfish.
I like the Garmin and Simrad AP's but the shadow drive feature sold me on Garmin. If i order the GHP10 with 2.1L pump, will it be the new pump that replaced the old octopus pump and is there any issue of availability of the new pump? Are the install instructions the same for the new pump?
And finally, what's the price of the new pump? Thx.

I would suggest calling Garmin. 800-800-1020. The 2.1 pump replacement is a running change. If you order a GHP10 from us and want the new pump you'll just need to ask that. The new pump does not cost any different than the old.

I have not inquired as to teh availability of the new pump. We have done about 10 installs with the old and never had an issue. The old one is fine as far as I'm concerned. The new one apparently has a different bolt pattern than the old. If the new one is what you want just ask when ordering and I'll be sure you get a new one.
