Hey Guys,

I own a Raymarine A65 Chartplotter/Fishfinder with the Navionics Gold charts for the east coast.

I mostly boat in the Great South Bay which is on the south shore of Long Island, NY. This bay is extremely shallow. If look at the chart for this area, the safety contour (where the depths go from white to blue is 3ft).

My problem is that the A65 safety contour only go as low as 7ft. This makes the chart-plotter look nothing like what it does on the paper chart of the area. Is there anything that can be done for this situation?

Pat, not that I know of, however I no longer have an A65 in the store to play with. I suggest calling Raymarine to see if they can walk you through a fix 800-539-5539
