Default chart plotter

I would like some suggestions on chart plotter in the 5" to 6" screen size. I have played with the 400 & 500 garmin unit, but is there any other. Does C-map work as well as the garmin?

By the way, I picked up from you a Furuno 620 unit it is awesome, I see more fish below than my buddy's garmin 545. you have customer for life....

I would put a Standard Horizon CP300 with 7" screen next to that FCV620. Get a C-Map Max chart. You'll love it. Or spend a little more and get a Lowrance HDS-7M. Here are links

Will the megawide max card fit the Standard Horizon CP 300i?

Can the C-map NA M024 card be 'upgraded' to megawide?

Megawide will fit. You can't upgrade charts. Whatever is on the chip is what you get. The detail between wide and megawide is the same. Megawide just covers a bigger area.
