What does it take to install Garmin 4208's in a 2000 wellcraft Coatal 29

I have just purchased twin Garmin 4208's for my 2000 Wellcraft Coastal 29.
I am getting concerned that there is not enough space behind the dash to install them. Anyone have any experience with doing this. There does not appear to be any access behind the dash, and maybe not enough depth for the unit, with out cutting into the panel underneath the dash, which may or may not be the wall of my head.

Any adivce????

Does your dash look like this? This boat has E-Series Raymarine Displays. If they fit your Garmin unit will fit.
