Default NMEA 0183 to NMEA 2000 converter
Hi again Jim, I read the other post of a converter and was wondering if it will convert info from my '01 merc efi for use of engine data to my RM E-80 . If there is a way, what do I need and what is the cost ? Thank you for your time, Wade

I am not sure what your merc puts out, smartcraft if anything. Are you tryin g to get GPS data to the smartcraft setup or engine data to the E80? You will not be able to get engine data to the E80.

I was looking for engine data however after speaking with mercury to find out which protocol my engine used I was told it didn't use any. I had hoped for nmea 0183, thanks for your time and response !! Wade
