Garmin International is pleased to introduce the next big thing in electronic marine navigation – GPSMAP 5015. The GPSMAP 5015 is Garmin’s largest network plotter display to date. The GPSMAP 5015 features a massive 15” XGA colour screen (1024 x 768 pixels), and boasts a revolutionary new menu-driven interface that makes operating your whole Garmin network as simple as pointing your finger. Multiple network ports let you connect and control a whole array of remote sensors and datalinks – from colour radar and sonar and more – right from your chartplotter screen. The unit comes with a built-in worldwide satellite basemap for “view-from-space” depictions of shorelines and other surface features. Plug in optional BlueChart® g2 Vision™ cards to add true 3D-view detailed mapping capabilities (both above and below the waterline), plus helpful auto guidance, high-resolution photomapping details, and “real picture” aerial photos of ports, harbours, marinas, waterways, navigation landmarks and other
points of interest.

• Three built-in network ports for connection to an optional Garmin radar, GSD 22 sounder, or another MFD

• 1 XGA resolution PC monitor video output
• Four NMEA 0183 inputs and two NMEA0183 outputs – supports both AIS and DSC
• One NMEA 2000 port

• Alarms for anchor drag, arrival, off-course, clock, low battery voltage and GPS accuracy
• Waterproof: IPX7 – submersible
• Users can configure unit to automatically turn on when power is applied

Enable the full functionality of the GPSMAP 5015 with the addition of a BlueChart g2 Vision SD card.


BlueChart g2 Vision cards provide:
- High-resolution satellite imagery when overlaid on the chart, will provide the mariner with unparalleled situational awareness
- Aerial reference photography provides “real world” photos of ports, harbours, marinas, waterways, navigation landmarks and other
points of interest, offering the mariner another powerful tool for navigating unfamiliar waters
- Mariner’s Eye view – Provides the mariner with a 3-D perspective of chart information for a quick, reliable and easy position fix.
- Fish Eye view – 3D perspective below the water line for displaying bottom contours based on bathymetric charting data
- Auto guidance technology will search the attributes of all relevant charts to suggest the best course for navigation
- Fishing charts, tides, currents, marine services, coastal roads and points of interest detail

Garmin has some sweet new NMEA2000 Instruments coming out too. They are small 4" square gauges that will display all the nmea2000 stuff on your boat. They have some smart ducers and fuels sensors coming out too. Also a 10" MFD called the 4210.
