Default Furuno FCV620 vs FCV585

Other than size, what are the differences between the Furuno 620 and 585. It looks like the 620 is limited to 600W which is probably fine for me since the Gulf is shallow for a long way out in my area and I will not be going far (20 ft boat). Does the 620 still have as good resolution as the 585? Is there any reason I should buy the 585 over the 620 (I do not have much space in my console so I am leaning toward the 620).

Thanks,
Muddy

You answered most of your questions. The resolution is exactly twice as good on the 585.

Just wanted to say thanks. I will get with you when I am ready to purchase. I am going to do a little more research. I was curious to see if there were any combo GPS/Chartplotter/Fishfinders that do as good a job as a fishfinder as the Furuno 585.

There are not. Closest would be the Raymarine C80.
