Default advice on new electronics 24' boat

would like to update to new gps/fishfinder, looking at garmin 545s or lowrance, int or ext ant?
how is the garmin g2 vision puts out, will radar hook up to it? is it worth buying? heard lowrance has good quality pixels, thanks for the advise.

lowrance has the best resolution for the buck. Garmin has the best charts and best interface. If charting more and fishing less get garmin, if fishing more and charting less get Lowrance. Vision charts are not worth it on the 540. The pre-loaded charts are fine.

There is like 19 different directions this conversatiion could go. I didn't realize 2 screens was an option. Just give me a call so we can work through this a little more efficiently.
