Default Simrad cx44e fish finder vs furuno digitial

G'day Jim , how does the Simrad cx44E fish finder compare to the furuno digitial (585, navnet 2 )system? also what do you believe would be a better choice a Simrad CX44E with a M260 as a combo unit , or the furuno FCV 1100 (M260 ?) and a Lowrance 5200 global map , thanking you , Rob.

I would much rather have the CX44. Multifunction systems are much more flexible. None of the units you are comparing make any sense. The 1100 is a very nice unit, but the 5200 towards the bottom of the gps food chain. Why not compare the cx44 to other multifunction displays? Like the Navnet VX2 or Garmin 4212?
