Default Temp Sensor

I have a Navman 8120 with a 600w dual freq thru hull transducer. Unfortunatly I did not know (untill it was installed) it did not have a temp sensor in it. I do not want to go through the expence of buying a new transducer or the hassle of replacing it. (i used 5200 to seal it) Is there anything I can add on to get the water temp? Either to display on the Navman or even a seperate guage.

You can get a Lowrance LMF 400 gauge that will display water temp with an EP-35 temp sensor. This whole setup is about $170. You can also hook your Yamaha up to it for another $54 to display fuel flow, engine diagnostics, and more.

Or you could get a Navman thru-hull speed/temp ducer. I don't have the info on it here at home but can get it for you tomorrow, just give me a call. http://www.byownerelectronics.com/st...8&cat=0&page=1

Thanks for the reply. I looked at the through hull. I have a Brass T/H and do not want to replace it, especially with a Nylon one. I don't need the fuel stuff, I already have it on my Factory gages and my Navman has it also. I was looking at the LDT-320 on your site. How does the temp probe get into the water? Is it a thru hull or transom mount? I am not against drilling if I have to. Also how long is the cable from the probe to the unit? I have a 28' boat and would need a pretty long cable. Is it possible to splice into it to make it longer?

The LDT-3200 has a transom mounted temp sensor. Here is the manual: http://www.lowrance.com/Manuals/File...071_022505.pdf

The cable should be about 25' long. I don't know if you can splice into it to make it longer. I think they probably offer an extension if you need it.

Do you stock the LDT-3200? How much would shipping be to Central Florida?
