Default Electronics package

I am looking for an electronics package for the Chesapeake Bay ie. wrecks for tog, some flounder fishing, Ocean Inshore striper fishing possible 10-15 mile out wrecks. In the $1500-2000 range what would be the best set up for a 21' SeaKing. Fish Finder and GPS. Also what if any are the benifits for having a 2 in 1 fish finder GPS. I feel as though I would like to have seperate units, but if there are any perks to the 2 in 1 let me know. Pretty user friendly and have wrecks already installed a plus.

Thanks.

I think an awesome setup would be just over your budget. You could get a Garmin 2210C w/10" screen for $1350. This is a very nice chartplotter with preloaded charts of the whole US coast. It has all the wrecks included. You could match that with a Furuno FCV-620 which is a 5.6" color digital ff for $677. You would need a transom mounted P66 ducer for $102 or a bronze thru-hull for $205 ideally. This setup will be $2129-$2234 but you would have an awesome setup. If you are hard set to your budget I would stick with the same FF, but get a smaller GPS like the Garmin 492 w/5" screen which would get you well under your budget.
