Default Eagle Fishfinders

BPS has the 240 and 320 pixel fishfinders on sale now. The problem is they have only 1500 watts peak to peak. Is this enough? I saltwater fish up to about 130 feet.
Thanks in advance.

Got a 320 that won't be installed until spring. I'm hoping the specs are true to their word.

If you are looking for deep water performance you might consider an Eagle 480 DF (dual frequency) instead. The 50 KHz mode should go much deeper than the 200KHz that most of the single frequency units work at. Can't say how deep the 320 will do reliably but 1500 watts Peak-peak is on the upper end of all of the consumer units. The Eagle 480 DF for $240 from Bass Pro and Consumer marine looks like a real good price. I bought one but can't give it a real consumer report until the boat gets back in the water, mid April in the frigid part of the country.
