Integrated Chart Plotter / Radar

I am looking into adding new electronics. Will be using a dedicated Furuno fishfinder. BUt was wondering what the thoughts are having the radar overlay the chart plotter. I am not looking to stray from the Garmin GPS but that is not and option to overlay the radar. Please share all thoughts, good, bad and ugly. The boat will be a center console with electronics mounted in the console, hopefully flush mounted. There may or may not be a Tee top. Thanks for your help.

To sum it up, Radar Overlay is the best thing since the wheel was invented.
