Default Raymarine man overboard alarm

I screwed up and held down the button on the unit when marking a waypoint and instead marked "Man overboard". The problem is that I can't get rid of it now! I can amend or delete any other waypoint except for this man overboard waypoint and the alarm just keeps beeping to remind me that I've left someone back there, it's driving me nuts! Does anyone know how to delete "Man overboard"?

On my A65 Raymarine the manual states :

You can clear a MOB and its data by pressing and holdig the WPTS/MOB key.
Once cleared, the chart application returns to its state prior to the MOB alarm and the GOTO and route function will again be available.

Hope that helps.

Yeah, but his problem is that is now a part of a route. I had the same problem. If I tired to delete the mob point it said it was in use and wouldn't do it.

I couldn't find the route it was in, so I deleted them all. No big deal for me since it was on my radar display and not on my chartplotter. Besdies, I have them on an NT chip and can just reload them back. I always have routes and waypoints in multiple places and can recover easily.

It was a pita though. Even though it was on my radar display, since it's networked to all my other gear it was picked up by my autopilot. Every time I tried to follow a route, it would head for the mob point.
