Default disconnect/connections need help

My fishfinder is mounted to the trolling motor,I have a removable plate that allows me to remove my trolling motor.I have seen {i think here} an inline connection that will allow me to disconnect the tranducer when I remove the trolling motor...I cant find any info....help!!

Isn't there a connector on the back of the FF that allows you to disconnect the transducer ? You don't want to cut the transducer cable

no it is a hummingbird can remove the unit but the transducer stays connected to the mounting bracket.I know I have seen a solution to this problem I just dont know where>
